Woven Gold and Silver Ring

Arata Fuchi is an extraordinarily gifted artist and metalsmith, whose diverse collection serves to inspire awe among his collectors. His organic, nature-inspired work is perhaps best known, but here he designs a nearly architectural ring, fabricated in oxidized and patinated sterling and set at center with a ‘jewel’ of his own making, woven strips of 24K pure gold, torched to a red-gold patina. Measures 1-5/8″ w x 1″ l x 1/2″ above the finger.
