So Young Park: Graduated Bead Necklace

So Young Park’s graduated bead necklace is a tour-de-force of metalsmithing, each 6-sided bead created by hand in sterling silver, either oxidized and engraved or gilded in 24K gold foil in the Korean keum-bo technique. The beads graduate from 13mm at back to the large center beads measuring 17mm diameter each composed of oxidized sterling curved circles. The necklace is reversible and adjustable in length from 16″ to 18″.
