Atelier Zobel: Quartz Crystal Diamond Ring

Peter Schmid is a sculptor and jewelry artist inspired by gems and unusually cut stones. Here, a matte-finished flat-topped 27.5 carat marquise-shape quartz crystal inspires the marquise-shape pattern of fused 24K gold on oxidized sterling that appears on the shank, sides and beneath the crystal on Peter’s cocktail ring.
