Platinum, diamond and 18K yellow gold Art Deco “Tortue” Cartier, Paris, circa 1915, is an extremely rare Art Deco, tonneau-shaped, platinum, 18K yellow gold and rose-cut diamond-set women’s wristwatch with a grosgrain ribbon bracelet. The 20mm x 26mm tonneau case has a yellow gold back with 4 screws in the platinum band. The bezel, lugs and extended stirrup lugs are set with rose-cut diamonds, rose-cut diamond crown. The silver guilloché dial featurblued steel sword hands. The movement is 18 jewels,warrantied by Aaron Faber for 18 months. The dial and movement is signed, the case numbered by Cartier, with fitted period box.
