14K gold Art Nouveau orchid pin, circa 1915, is an exquisite example of the period, with its detailed three-dimensional ruffled and enamel orchid, one of the iconic images of the Art Nouveau style. The delicate true-to-life colors blend from mauve to rust, like the flower itself, here with a seed pearl pistil and spring green leaves, all in miniature, 1″ wide x 7/8″ high, made by the famed Newark jeweler Henry Blank, Whiteside & Blank.
