Rock Crystal Quartz Ring

Master gem cutter Tom Munsteiner is always on the lookout for rare and unusual gems and minerals, and here is a 25.62 carat oval rock crystal with a natural inclusion of crystallized chlorite. Tom uses this as his canvas, cutting from the back a contrasting transparent bubble, sandblasting the back of the quartz to emphasize the contrast. Set in sterling silver, measuring 1-1/4″ long x 5/8″ wide.
